MJVBA Modifications
This will allow those players who have early summer birthdays to compete with their age grouping but will not allow those students who are a full year ahead in age & physical maturity to compete in a lesser age division.
To have a waived players on your team, you must have, not only the AAU card & a birth certificate but also some official documentation as to their grade for the current school year. A report card would be good. There is no need to apply for a waiver. You have to have this documentation with you at all tournaments& should be attached to the athletes AAU Card & presented at tournament Check-in. If you are going to AAU Nationals you will have to adhere to the age divisions listed on www.aausports.org
